Hi all! So recently I got a Sony PVM 14N6U monitor and saw it had an RCA jack on the back for a remote. I don't know anything about remotes so I was wondering if you guys knew anything about it. Is it for some special remote Sony sold back in the day or can I use any IR remote with it? I don't really need a remote for it since it sits on my desk but it would be cool to try out. If it helps at all, the Service Manual says this about it: Any info would be highly appreciated!
Its basically just a push button (on-off). It simply acts like a previous channel / Last button on a normal tv.
I had a feeling that's what it was. I was hoping it would control the on-screen menu too. Ah well, thanks man!
