I think you'll find most of the harshness comes not because of the language but because your first (and only) posts here have been to sell something.

As an established collector community we've seen a lot of sellers come in with overpriced and overrated items thinking that they can just sell them to "collectors" in order to make a fast buck. Most of the sales in this forum are done by members of the community who have also contributed in other parts of the forum.

If you can't understand some of the rules due to a language barrier feel free to ask as there are plenty of multi-lingual users here. But if you have no intention of participating in the forums and only wish to spam items for sale I think you'll find the waters a tad bit icy. ;)

I'm pretty sure that English communication was part of the rules on the last forum, and while it may seem pretty harsh, it's kind of necessary so that everyone can understand each other. You don't have to be 100% fluent - there are plenty of people here whose first language isn't English, and they get along fine. So long as everyone understands you it's not a problem.

and concerning your question who made the rules: those rules are extremely neccessary, because otherwise the marketplace would be spammed with sale threads from freshly registered people
