Everyone, I am trying to remove the front bezel from a PS2 fat DVD drive, which I plan to use in a TOOL.

Before I go ahead and destroy the bezel and the DVD tray in the process, does anyone know if/how the bezel can be properly removed from the tray?

    BTW, the PS2 is a SCPH-15000.

    Thanks,

    Jolly

But the part isn't even the same... is it?
There's no PlayStation 2 logo on the TOOL's drive.

The bezel is different but the tray is the same. Use a needle to pry back the tabs on both sides of the tray and carefully remove the bezel from the 15000 tray, if it breaks use superglue to adhere the tool bezel to the new tray

Which is my point exactly, I need to remove the logo from the drive, so that I can install it on the TOOL :)

Thanks! Are the tabs on the side the only ones holding the bezel in place? I don't want to break it...
