So I finally scored a copy of "In the Hunt" and It's got a lot of sticker glue in upper right corner. I'd love to remove it but i'm paranoid of removing some ink since it's the cardboard type, not plastic.

any advice..or just leave it? If it was Chessmaster 3-d , i'd just go for it, but I doubt i'll see a copy of this game in the wild again.

Hold it on top of a pan with boiling water, the steam should dissolve the glue without damaging the cardboard. Other than that just a couple of drops of goo gone and a qtip should work as well.

I'd skip the steam, which might warp the paper, and try a hair dryer instead, or go right for the "goo gone" (don't know it but I'm guessing it's similar to the "sticker remover" I use). Don't worry, the box should survive as long as you don't totally soak it - the glossy surface will be mostly liquid proof for a while. Careful though if that layer has been damaged e.g. while ripping off the sticker.

Thanks all, used the goo gone with q-tip and it worked fine. I realize I was too cautious but..it was in the hunt after all, a game i'd been looking for in the wild for YEARS. Thanks again, love this site.
