Those round edges and bright red stripes only look good in CGI realm.

IRL anything in that color will take you back to the 80s vomit-inducing idea of fashion, and round edges are too mid 90s, today you're either organic or blocky-sharp...

Very much true. People have been wanting a flash cart for the NES for a very long time, and when bunnyboy finally released the PowerPak everyone just whined about the price :eek:h:

No matter how many time I look at this thing: I just don't like it. In fact is hard for me to imagine the NES with a different design, and like Calpis said before, it's really hard to come out with a good new design having the image of the original NES behind.

In my opinion the NES shape is more than perfect and any attempt to improve it will horribly fail.

Well I would love another cart loading system, but that may need new carts too.

What about a Nes with every game on NAND?

I think the depicted box is not a cart-loader.

rather a nand-inside console with wireless bluetooth controllers (judging by the blue hue)

I meant every-single game built-in using NAND storage, not NAND carts...

I was wanting a NES flash cart or backup device for a long time and when the PowerPAK came out at only 135$ I was quite pleased actually. Given that the NES has so many different board setups and such, the PowerPAK was superb and I thought at 135$ it was a bargin. For 135$, I couldn't buy all the NES games I wanted to play (such as certain import titles) as well as build multipule dev carts or anything like that. Though I do remember other people complaining but they always do that. Call them spoiled by GBA and NDS pirate products that are dirt cheap.
