Uhm, if you ask me, it doesn't seem like this thing has gone through any type of testing... So far, the following issues I've found so far: 1: Gallery Mode -Entering Gallery Mode without any art unlocked will trigger an insert controller 1 message. 2: Battle Mode -Battle Mode savegames will overwrite Slot 1 for Story Mode. 3: Inconsistencies -Takes less than 2 minutes into the game to spot inconsistencies in spelling and translation. 4: Typos -Typos can be found all over the place. 5: Overlaps and Cut-offs -Plenty of overlaps and cut-offs all over the place. And, of course, in general... there's a lack of editing of the translation. But the translation itself is funny, though. It is pretty good and entertaining.
Metric ton of debug bits visible through a hex editor. I don't know much about reverse engineering but this could be fun for someone.
I honestly never knew they were making an english version and think this is an awesome release. The thing I like about unreleased xbox games is I just put them on the hdd and dont need to burn. Was there really a Dynamite Cop xbox version in the works?
yup. you can read about the whole story here http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/1098/Developer-Focus-Coolnet-Entertainment-Part-II/p1/ http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/1089/Developer-Focus-Coolnet-Entertainment-Part-I/p2/
A thought just crossed my mind, any reason to leave this here? Would be nice to see what others have to say unless there is already a topic in public.
It was a public release on a torrent site - there's really no reason to have the discussion here as opposed to say, Unreleased Games.
0.3mm or 0.5mm drill bit, turned by hand works very well for this. Makes a hell of a mess though, make sure you clear up the tiny lumps of solder so they can't short anything! </offtopic>
So happy to finally see this one released. Reports indicate it's the full game(apart from the missing gallery/save overwriting/typos/etc...) but I remember people stating (way back when) that it was only a demo of the first three levels. Is this complete to the final level? Anyone know? Still... great to see it's around at long last!
