    Guys,
I just got a Commodire 64GS, all in great shape except for a couple of areas on the case where the plastic appears melted.

Some of you will be familiar with marks like these, it looks like someone lightly moved a soldering iron over the case in these areas!

What I want to know is, can you fix marks like these in plastic?

    Thanks,
    Paul

Has the plastic just bubbled, not idented? Just sand it if so.

You would be best to get a broken system and swap shells, or consider the melted case a lost cause and fill the sags, sand it, send it out to get painted and have a custom system.

As ASSEMbler said, you'll end up with a custom paint job in the end if you want these areas fixed. No matter how you look at it, the melted parts wil have to be sanded down then filled with filler and sanded again. This will make the area smooth but will look like shit. This is why you'll then need a pain job done.
