Long story short my Dual Shock 4 is scratched to hell, there are probably all kinds of things that got into it in my efforts to clean it up. I need a new shell, touch pad and PS button and I haven't had much luck finding them. I've given up and I'm just going to buy a new controller (A WHITE ONE) but I'd like to referb this one as well

So where can I get repair parts?

Yeah I saw some like that on Amazon and they were poorly reviewed.

I fix it had a few of the parts I need.

Here's what I did to my Controller

The white...is toothpaste which was used in a poor attempt to polish out the scratches.

Wait... if you just need the shell, why does the poor review matter? Was it the quality of the plastic or the tech?

The screw holes weren't threaded can't have that especially since this would be the first time I attempt to refurbish anything.

I think I'll take a cue from assembler and source from broken controllers on ebay.

Far as cleaning a friend told me his story uses a foam to clean controllers. I might look into that.

Those fake shells are just plain crap. I have tried a few different kinds, but nothing fits like the OEM ones. The biggest problem is that the buttons just don't fit. Half of them don't work with the Start/Share buttons at all.
