I need to replace a leaking rechargeable 3.6v NiCad battery (barrel style) in an Amstrad Mega PC computer. I know that if I replace it with a CR2032 Lithium coin type battery in holder it'll need blocking diodes to stop it charging (& exploding). To avoid the hastle of using diodes could I replace it with a 3.6v rechargable LIR 2032 battery in holder. Many thanks.
The ML2032 is the rechargeable version of the CR2032. If a CR fits and works, then an ML is what you need!
Well I guess that answers that question! Thanks from me as well! :encouragement: Now I just need to work out what I need to replace where and when!
Wow! Honestly speaking, I believed that such a battery was "old technology" and is no longer being manufactured today. @_@ Looks like I was wrong.
