I think this is the right place for this... at any rate, I have a 2010 macbook that needs the keyboard replaced. I found a new keyboard on ebay for $20 just the annoying part is that newer macbooks have a unibody design which makes it annoying to replace the keyboard. I am having trouble getting to where the keyboard is so I was hoping someone here could help. I have removed the screen, mobo, dvd drive, hdd yet does the battery need to be removed too? Also there is some metal where the screws go in which needs to be removed and I am really stuck on how to get that off. I know that under there is just the backlight paper and those 75 screws I have heard is there, and from there I think I got it. If anyone has done this before and can help me out that would be great!!!!! Here is a pic of the mac I am talking about: Pic of what I am trying to remove to get to the keyboard, circled in red:
