This chip is near impossible to find EVER. 29F032 with a tsop to dip adapter works for larger games. There is also the MX29L3211 which is SOP (but requires a little leg bending due to voltage differences).
Yeah, I noticed that. I'm buying everything to build 5 NeoGeo MVS cartridges of unreleased games. I'm concerned that a tsop to dip adapter might not fit inside the cartridge. This are the games I'm going to make: Treasure of The Caribbean Bang Bang Busters Ironclad Ghostlop Diggerman So I would need 9x 27C16010x 27C322 10x 27C1001 4x 27C800 5x 27C320 4x 27C4096 I already have the donor cartridges. A bunch of Super Sidekicks 2. And what I'm getting is that it's going to be expensive. I would like to order all of them from inside Europe to my brother's house but the best prices are in hong kong or china. :/
making neo geo repros sounds like alot of work, I can definitely see why people of low moral fortitude would jump on it given how ridiculous NG pricing has become (not aimed at veggav)
But since the eproms are DIP building the cartrdge is easier than making a snes repro with enamel wire.
No. If you replace ram with rom you will have SLROM. What you need to do is to add PRG RAM. Now you will have snrom.
