[REQ] Earliest DotA2 build available

Hey all!

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find on the interwebs a download of the earliest DotA2 build that is available. I'd love to see one like this but that looks very early, so I'd love to see any early builds really.

don't know about dota2, but there are bunch of other valve leaks like TF2, HL2 and CSS..

 

I know of the HL2 leak, and the source code leaks, but is there an actual leak of the TF2 beta that isn't the public beta that had SFM built into it?

 

The HL2 leak IS the source code leak, afaik the leaked HL2 sourcecode was then compiled in to a runable build.
As for TF2, well I know that there is a leaked version and a public beta. I don't know if the leak I'm thinking of is the source code leak you're talking about.

 

Sorry for bumping this but I might know of an earlier build that came with some "HL3" source code. Not really sure if this is legit or not.

Found the leak, here's the magnet.

Unfortunately it doesn't have server.dll so it is unplayable but the files are all there. Also, mdl files don't load in any hlmv but it loads fine in SFM.

EDIT: Found a download for an old version of DotA2, but it's in Steam Backup form, which I can't find a way to restore the backup without Steam automatically updating it.

Actually, I moved things around a bit - you didn't need a lot of what you said, once the rest was put together. It reads as a single post just fine. Better than - sorry for bumping, I'm looking for this... oh wait, I found it... oh wait, there's a problem.... oh wait, I found another that also has a problem....

 

Well no one else seems to be contributing so I'm documenting my finds! Wouldn't be a triple post if someone responded after my questions
