[Request] Doom III Alpha 0.02 - Fixed Version

Hi.

As you can see below in video, some people with the appropriate knowledge, succeeded in a fairly large extent, to fix a lot of elements in this version.


Does anyone have this fixed version? and I would be so nice to share it?

 

That seems to just be the alpha that is (or used to be) all over the net, but played in exactly the way that was intended to "make it look awesome" - if you don't hit the triggers correctly (in the correct order, or at all) things might be a bit weird. I remember playing through this stuff back then, no fixes save for one to improve performance with my gpu, iirc. Well, maybe some config changes, and I think the AI nodes had to be rebuilt (one console command per map, easy peasy - might have this confused with the hl2 leak tho, not sure).

What do you mean by "fixed", exactly? What isn't working for you?

 

Off topic, but when rso mentioned "if you don't hit the triggers correctly (in the correct order, or at all) things might be a bit weird." I immediately thought of the Halo 2 E3 demo, which has the same setup where you have to do certain things at the right moments and you must follow a fairly strict path, or else the game outright crashes on you.
