You can link it, but it has to be like a link to a mega folder containing a file that contains the link to the SDK

Given the sensitive nature of the files and the fact that ps3 games are still produced today (in Japan at least) shouldn't we at least wait for the green light of a moderator before making that call? (just erring on the side of caution here)

I feel it's appropriate too but yeah, good idea to get the official go ahead.

Ensure there is no watermark on the files. This will be plastered everywhere on the docs (pdfs).
If it is watermarked and released, the company associated with that watermark will get in a ton of trouble.

If his are the same as what I have then I don't think it has any watermarks on the docs, the binaries IDK but the docs seem clean at least.

Binaries usually dont hold a Watermark (PS4/Vita do however)
Doc wise, if the docs have a string of numbers on them, it's watermarked.

I remember reading PS4 and PS Vita SDKs had watermarked docs, but I don't think I ever heard of PS3 / PSP SDK watermarked docs.
Are you positive binaries included in the PS4 / Vita SDKs are watermarked? Sounds a bit extreme / insane / time & resources consuming...

For PS4 and Vita the binaries I cant honestly say, but i wouldnt be surprised and it's easier to just assume they are. Docs and Update files are in fact watermarked. Docs for PS3 are watermarked, but updates are not.

Unfortunately the issue now is will the developer come out of this okay, because this is very recent SDK that was dropped.

Probably not, they'd be in breach of their NDA.

The ones leaked for PS Vita, I remember seeing a big watermark with the name of the company. No such thing for the leaked PS3 SDKs so far.
Is it an invisible watermark? Do you remember in which SDK version you saw this?

Docs is where i distinctly saw the watermarks for PS3. I dont recall what version, but chances are it wasnt leaked. Or maybe I'm wrong. I just know there was some way to know who it belonged to.

The watermark is invisible and takes work to get to on PS4/Vita (if not docs). It's hidden in the update file as a .wm file. A very small thing but hard to get to but it's certainly there.
The numbers you see on the docs are the watermark as well since the numbers are assigned to a company (though we wont know what one, sony will).

This is why when you share it you breach NDA. Now that it's been share and leaked someone will be in trouble.

    First this:

    https://assemblergames.com/threads/...oftware-tools-rules-updated-march-2015.16725/

This forum is for spreading technical documents and dev tools.

    VERY CLEAR RULES:

    Discuss anything.

Share anything except PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii-U, PSP, Vita, and 3DS dev software.
You can discuss this software as much as you like and even post screencaps.
However, It can't have any links to downloads.

Homebrew / hacks / community made tools for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii-U, PSP, Vita, and 3DS are fine.
As long as it's not copyrighted.

This is out of respect for the people who make the tools,
    some of whom are members.

Secondly, moving this discussion to the right place.
