(REQUEST) Official Xbox Magazine Disc 27 ISO

Does anyone happen to have an ISO for Official Xbox Magazine Disc 27? There's a demo for SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom that I wanna look at. I can't find an iso anywhere on the internet, so I assume this is the place to ask. Thanks.

 

I can take a look in a few hours for you. Will up the iso if i can rip that disk and ftp it to my pc.

I actually bought the disc way before asking this. I was expecting to be able to look through the disc in my disc drive, but I was waaaaay mistaken. I don't even have an Xbox. Having an iso would make this a lot easier.

 

Disk 27 has Sonic on front, its properbly from the UK magazine.
No sponge bob

So what I suspect, and I discovered it before, the OXM magazines in Europe and US are different. its highly possible Japan knew their own and maybe never before seen games.
I also took a look at 20~30 and did not yet seen sponge-bob. Good luck.

That's the problem, I have no clue how to dump it. That's the whole reason I'm asking for an iso of it. I don't have an Xbox so I don't know anything about the dumping process.

The ISO will just be a copy of the disc you already have, though. If you don't have an Xbox, how are you going to do anything with it, anyway?

 

You need an XBOX to create a dump of it anyway...

Yes there is. You would need a Kreon Drive. Its a hacked Pc disc drive that has been modified with firmware of a xbox drive. Only very specific models will work. This will allow you to rip straight to pc.

 

Probably cheaper to just grab an old Xbox off eBay (should be modded, so you can copy files to the PC) than getting a Kreon drive (or one of the newer "0800" contraptions). Or just send the disc to someone who owns an xbox, I'm sure you'll find someone willing to help out.

 

Are there tools to dump Xbox disks using a Hitachi GD-5000 DVD-ROM? I was able to dump the first Xbox's disks two weeks before the console came out using one. The games were available in U.S. stores about two weeks before the consoles were, and I figured out how to read the disks using a GD-5000.

The GD-5000 firmware had a back door where a SCSI command could be issued to write to the device's memory. Using that, you could tell it that the disk is longer than its table of contents said it was. Then you could just read data "past the end" and the drive allowed it.
