[REQUEST] Pokemon Gamstop Keldeo and other pokemon distributions

Anyone able to dump the pokemon gamestop event carts? I've tried looking for them on the internet now and the only way it seems to get them are to pay these morons on feebay $900 :/ Can anyone here help me out here?

It'll spring up eventually, they all do. The Japanese distribution cart for Keldeo is floating around. You can just modify a save file though with the PGF file using Pokegen which is essentially what the carts do anyway, check here - http://projectpokemon.org/events/en-V.php

 

Thanks, rewark, been trying to find a some-what legit way to get the Jp keldeo event. Also I don't think the GS event carts are worth more then $70 each as I kind of keep seeing them every month or so.

 

I find that somewhat hard to believe. But if it's true (and not some lame ROM hack), I would like to see it. Especially a photo of the DS card itself.

You won't be able to get the Japanese Keldeo event if you don't have a Japanese Pokémon game. Also, stores have to pay high fines (way more than $70) if they don't return the card. That's why they're expensive and rare as they are. The ones on eBay are mostly relisted items that haven't sold or been paid for.

 

I have both versions of Black and Black 2 (US and JP, JP being my backup and my JP event grabber) If someone out there has dumped that JP Keldeo event and it works let me know would be rather nice to be able to do that event on my JP copy some what legit.

And the difference is? I seriously don't know enough about these to know what's so different about a dump from a real cart or a blank distribution cart hacked with the appropriate PGF to give the required Pokemon. From what i gather both options put the Pokemon on your cart in the same manner and in the same state, so what's the difference?

 

There will be no difference in your savegame data.

But since the Japanese Keldeo was only available in cinemas (during the movie was shown), you should also be in possession of a cinema ticket for that movie if you have the wondercard in your game.
