I've been doing some research lately into a particular sound engine, the GAX Sound Engine, which is the in-house sound engine used by Shin'en Multimedia. I'm mostly looking at the GBA variant of the engine, and knowing this site and all the interesting things I've found here, perhaps I might have some luck with finding something here that would be invaluable to my research. Does anyone have any bits or pieces of the engine itself or any documentation that it may have had? I know that it's in-house and perhaps nothing may have found its way out, but I suppose it never hurts anyone to ask.

If you're curious to see what work I've actually put into this so far, take a peek here: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=335312

I'm not entirely sure if bumping topics are allowed, but I thought I'd bump this for visibility. I've been plugging away slowly at my research efforts, but I'm still remaining hopeful that there's some documents on this somewhere. Any form of documentation as to how this works would be awesome, even if it's just instructions on how it's used or something.

I know this is.. kind of a late reply, but have you considered *contacting Shin'en yourself* ?

They are a german dev team, and capable of english aswell, so that shouldn't be a problem ?
