I can't see to find any defintive information on this so I'm going to just ask.

Is there any reason that one couldn't leave the onboard NAND alone and use a Cygnos (and/or Xd card mod) in conjunction with the new reset glitch? The idea being the Cyngos would hold the modified NAND dump with the end result (hopefully) being that booting from the onboard NAND would allow for the 360 in question to run peacefully on Live and booting from the Cygnos, with the reset glitch hardware enabled, to allow for homebrew play.

Obviously using the same harddrive for both might be a bit stupid but I'm curious if anyone knows if this is possible or would you just get banned from Live through a detection method I'm unfamiliar with. Doesn't seem to be possible to use the Cygnos on a Trinity board either but that may be because the Cygnos' documentation appears to be designed about the usage of XBR through the previous JTAG hack.

Offtopic slightly, does anyone know why XBox-hacker.net has been offline? Pushing what looks like a database error but it seems to have been doing that for a week or three now.

This should work (you will need to figure out what NOT to solder - you don't want any of the JTAG stuff, just the dual NAND)

If you mean http://www.xboxhacker.org/ - it's working fine.

@OP, all it is just another nand.

For you, I would do is. Leave the original NAND on the 360 flash, Flash the exploit on the Cygnos, and have a switch on the VCC or VSS idk aka 3.3V source.

^Is what I have been getting for some time now. Unless that is a fancy way of saying you've been blocked via htaccess.

Good to know this is possible, solves my dilemma of what to do with a new 360. Hoping Cygnos is compatible with Trinity.

    Good luck with your idea.

Off-topic: You need to go on XBH using a proxy. It is a site error and many people are getting it.
