...so, what's going on ? will cacpom makes resident evil multi-consoles again? i personnaly hope not. i don't really think ps2 could handle it anyway.
I'm sure Gamepsot, IGN etc check there sources when they announce news like this. On top of this there is apparently an interview from gamewatch in which RE4's producer comments on the PS2 port. Why it happend and any ramifications it's had on certain employees(i.e. Mikami and his Itagaki sized ego). I say apparently because I haven't seen this interview confirmed anywhere so I don't know if it's a pile of shit or poorly translated. Would be funny if it was Mikami fucking around and building hype for RE4. Capcom would have no choice but to come down on the bitch then.
Eh, you can never be too sure with RE. Hell, they said that Code Veronica would be a Dreamcast exclusive, and look at it now: Ported to the PS2 and GCN. All we can do is wait and see...
Who cares what system is appears on, so long as it appears and it kicks ass? :smt023 It could appear on the NES for all I care provided it rocked!
Couldn't agree more. I got the PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe the other day and I must say I'm quite thankful that Capcom made it available to those without GC (and NO it does not seem to be inferior to the GC version, ie it is good in it's own right)
Apart from the slowdown. For the price of two new PS2 VJ's you could have probably got a Cube and a second hand copy of the game.
Ah, didnt notice any of that. And my copy of VJ cost me 25e, while a Cube still costs 99e here, and the game probably 50e, if I could find it.
I really don´t care if this game is coming to PS2 or Xbox (and I have both), the only think I know is that I will be playing the Cube version on january. :smt067 Falow
