Is it just me or do most people playing this keep hoping for
the fun of RE 4 and eventually realize that RE 5 is like a stale donut
out of the once fresh and tasty RE 4 donut box?

I've just finished completing Bio Hazard 5 on the 360 and to be honest did find it very stale and slow at fist but once I had that shotgun!! Oh yes!

True, it's no BH4 but I still found it entertaining enough although 2nd time through was no where near as entertaining as going through BH4 the 2nd time round.

I have it on the PC and the addition of nude sheva makes the game more
    interesting.

In fact you can replace chris with another sheva, for double the fun.

    *shrugs* I enjoyed Re5 immensely.

I played it 10 hours straight. Slept a few hours then played 4 hours straight the first day.

I plan on playing through it again soon.

The only thing I hated was the ending. But as per usual I hate all endings in Re games. They just seem so unfulfilling

    RE4:Wii Edition > RE5:any edition.

That said, I haven't played the DLC relating to the mansion..that seems very interesting for us old-timers.

I was unaware of this sort of capability. Crap!

I did play through it with a friend (360).
It was fun, but I think that was only really because I was playing with a good friend and we had a laugh the entire time, fucking around mostly, and getting our asses kicked on a harder difficulty.

I couldn't imagine that much fun on my own, especially if I had to deal with an AI partner.
When I played the demo on PS3... I wasn't really looking forward to the whole game.

My main qualm is that this is RE/BH. A BIG franchise. And THIS is their latest and greatest installment. Huh?

Also, I've never finished RE4. *looks at my two copies of it on the shelf* No excuses.

My favorite RE game lately was that rail shooter on the Wii at my other buddy's house. Still, nothing specacular, but more enjoyment (especially per-dollar).

Really? They're in the mansion? Is that the Versus download? If so I need to get that.

Not sure about the JP version's DLCs at all. It's not in the Versus pack though I guess, since that's pretty old.

Great, just downloaded that. Once Bio Shock 2 is finished it's back on to Bio Hazard 5.

If you didn't like RE5, play Dead Space! So much more fun and worth checking out. EA really surprised me with this one. RE5 was so dumb in comparison to Dead Space.

Agree, dead space was great RE5 was ok but certainly not upto RE4 standards.

Grrr, I've been wanting to grab Dead Space since it came out. My SDTV makes it... not an option. :D

I'm awaiting the motion sensor PS3 version. I felt RE4 was a bit overrated, it was great but that was mostly in comparison with the other Resident Evil games.

For PC it works, I can bind all the boxes to 1-0 keys, so I never need to bring up inventory.

I wind up doing a lot of mindless 1-1 runs as sheva uses full heal sprays if you
so much as stub a toe.

Hey, gotta keep that body dent-free. Otherwise, what's the point of having her?

i have finally finished RE4 even though i bought the game when it came out, and have another copy, and the Wii version as well...
from what i can tell and see RE5 is just upgraded RE4, judging by your comments not even that....

four is a great game i have to admit, but not nearly as good as RE2 or Remake... It's too different for my taste.
