Resident evil fundraising / crowdsourcing is now forbidden

Oh You nazi! I enjoyed watching errorjacks streaming, not saying that it was to drum up support but you never know. cuz the fella can be creepy, but me and 5 others just enjoyed watching i think. It reminds me of the sonicCult days we always thought you were a jerk teasing us with that xtreme beta. nothing against assembler i suppose but does capcom give us that much shit that we ban it entirely? It's only a bit of resident evil right?

 

He's the boss. I haven't been active here to know about 1.5 or any of that, but I can only guess the troubles and foolishness that happens when it comes to rare collectables. I'm sorry for anything I may have caused for everyone, I just wish I could've been less of a douche by not getting everyone's hopes up so fast.

The last comments on errorjack was that he might release the game, he even said MAYBE for free. So this seems like a boycott on your side Assembler...

To me besides doing something so restrictive you should post online the name of the users who threatens Errorjack, or is there any reason why not do it?

When we have a scammer in the forums we all know about it.
People even suggested blacklists.

So why not reveal the users who are working behind this scene to avoid that?

I agree with this. Too many people fishing for big "pay days" from assembler members. But in principle, I have no problem with people releasing stuff they own since they paid for it so they can do what they want. If others don't want that to happen because it will reduce the value of other copies floating around and whatnot, that's their problem.

 

This isn't the only community on the internet that needs to act as his mother and tell him what not to do, anyway. If he wants to do anything, I'm sure he can find somewhere else and word will spread to here.

And yeah, who are these people making threats to him? Is it people that own stuff that just don't want anyone else to ruin their special feeling of being the only one with something? I really don't see why we need to accomodate anything with such weird requests.

Not really a Resident Evil fan but have seen the BS 1.5 brings; I did however enjoy watching Errorjack's stream a lot of interesting stuff.

Good move. I absolutely loved the first Resident Evil. Resident Evil 2 was good, too. After that, I kinda lost interest. 1.5 really should be of interest to me, because it falls between the two I enjoyed.... but I really couldn't give a shit about it. I don't read the stupidly long thread, I don't follow the group apparently releasing it. Yeah, whatever. You'd never see a penny of my money, even if a fundraiser was allowed for it.

Far as I know there were different concepts done for RE4 or something, and people just decided to stick the _.5 label on it since that's what any RE proto is.

All Re protos are a _.5 of the final.

Yeah, 3.5 was what 4 was going to be before Capcom decided to change the gameplay completely. I like 4, but I think 3.5 actually looked fairly interesting. If I remember correctly, Capcom completely finished 3.5 but decided to make the change anyway.
