Resolution to all of the outstanding issues that I (Gavroche) have caused

Dear all,

You all know the story and you all know what happened. But for those that dont:

I sold several items to members of here (under the name of Gavroche) and did not have any way for sending the items off due to severe financial hardship.

This was not simply a conning case, as if it was the hardware would have been sold several times over like con men seem to do. Clearly this was not my intention, and this has not happened.

Since these transactions, I've lost my home, my car, my partner and most of my belongings.

However, this is where things are most important. The stuff which is still owing to members of this board, are still available for collection. Its been well kept in storage, waiting for the official receiver (bankruptcy OR) to remove their grip of my financial interest.

This hardware includes:

1xDVT3 XDK & Raptor Card
1xAlpha I XDK
1xBeta Debug Kit & Discs
1xCollection of NR Discs
plus some assorted games (RLH, H:TR)

This works out at about $3k in total value.

Hardware NOT owed (and therefore may be listed on ebay):

1xDVT3 XDK, Raptor Card and extras (now sold on ebay)
1xDVT3 Debug Kit
1xAlpha II XDK
1xXBOX ATE Test Unit

Since loosing everything, I have now moved into a shared lodgings, specifically for discharged bankrupts.

If anyone is in the UK and would like to pick up the goods from Biggleswade Train Station, then I am happy to supply them for further shipping to other members.

Alternatively, members can wait until the other DVT3 XDK sells on ebay where the funds will be used directly to go to shipping of these goods.

Or, if anyone gets free shipping with UPS and would kindly offer to take these items using their account number, that is also a viable option.

I did intend to ship some items by UPS before using my company account, but the risk of the items being seized were too great.

Anyone not involved in this, please steer clear of this thread.... I am not looking for onlooker's comments (its all be said before)... I just want to get these good and patient people's hardware back to them. This thread is entirely for the tracking and loggings of the process of the return of this hardware to whom it belongs. Please do not think I am being dissrespectful by requesting this, but its all be discussed before and probably wont help. However, if your in the UK and well-known on this forum, your support as a middle(wo)man would be appreciated.

If anyone lives in germany, I am expecting to be flown to Munich on business next month where I should be able to drop the items off to someone at the airport.

Everyone involved in this, please state the items SPECIFICALLY owed and their value.

I can drive up there in the week of the 13-18th feb if need be, As I am off college that week. It would be about 100 miles each way, So as long as people paid me ~£25 for my petrol, and then for onward shipping, I would be happy to do this. This case doesn't involve me, but just to let you know that the offer is there if it is needed

 

would it be of any use pciking some items up in germany? i mean did any german buy somethin from you?

to my info at least 2 xdks (if i remember right both could be towers but iam not sure at least one xdk tower mine was sold to germany since i live there =)

on the other site may i ask which kind of buisness you are atending in germany ?

 

I am working on a HDTV satellite/dvb-t/cable set-top-box which I need to attend developer meetings for in munich. I dont have a fixed date yet, but have been invited for the latter part of feb.

Either way, its not a problem, if you would like Paulo to pick it up then thats fine.

 

mine is the dvt3 xdk with raptor card, i'd be more than happy if someone would pick that up for me, or i could also send ups to pick it up.

Ok everyone i can pick your things up fine! Just please PM me with the items you wish me to pick up. So i can make a list for the day and double check everything i have taken.

Me and wheela will be meeting to pick things up hopefully not this weekend but next weekend.

 

paulo, you can get my dvt3 kit with the raptor and stuff, we would then organize ups or whatever shipping is cool from uk to germany, and sort out some compensation for your time/fuel/whatever.

also i'd like to thank you, gav, for keeping our items secure in the really bad situation you are in and finally getting the stuff sorted out, and i really hope that things will get better for you with your new job and stuff! we had to file for bancruptcy with our own company before christmas, i know that these things suck like hell.
