Hi everyone. Im not usually one to do a review of a game but I have fallen in love with this game. I love Tri-Ace in general but this is a real gem and Im doing this in hopes of everyone who might like it buying a copy and supporting Tri-Ace and Sega on this one. Its set on a giant tower constructed due to polution of the earth as far as I can tell. Its a steam punk feel with everything being powered by cog wheels. Its a very very unique feel and look. The tower is MASSIVE and is many layers. Large platforms make up basically mini plots of land that branch around the main tower. The richer you are the higher up the tower you live. A single layer might have 3-8 fairly large cities and such to explore. Im not very deep into the game yet but its very deep. Some complain its to complicated, and it is complicated! But in a good way, it seperates the posers wanting a FF clone and the real RPG freaks. The battles are AMAZING all revolving around gun play. Its sort of got a matrix feeling. You can jump in the air like in the matrix and press a button and they sling the guns around shooting doing flips and everything and its just amazing and insane. Its the most fun I have EVER had with RPG combat. You can juggle a enemy in the air then super jump above them and ram them into the ground with bullets ala DragonBall Z. All guns can be tinkered with and custom parts made and applied to them! You can hook up like 3 scopes, barrel extrenders, larger clips, anything you can think of and its like a grid layout with your guns and each part has to fit on the grid in the space alloted. Its very clever and easy to understand. You can Dual weild pistols and machine guns and load special rounds like hallow points and such. Theres so much to explore its mind blowing!!! Next onto character customizing. You can dress all your characters with special clothes and stuff you find and buy at shops. I got my guys in matrix glasses so when im in slow mo in the air shooting stright down into someones head I look badass. The graphics are great!!! I know some reviews say they arnt good, but its the art style! They are very good and the engine runs perfect with no lag at all. Overall its my favorite RPG of the last 7 or so years I would take it over FF13 any day. Yes its a steep learning curve, but its worth it when you get it. My sister in law saw me playing it and was like WTF as I danced bullets around like 3 badguys in epic battle! If you like RPGs this is for you. Please if you are looking for a good game that shows how hardcore you are pick this up NEW anywhere and support a great company whose making great games.
