Resonance (Xbox unreleased game) 3 Builds

    i have had these three disc's for over five years now and i have been unable to retrieve the data off of the dvd's due to scratches and damage anyone have any good idea's on how to get the data from the disc's??? eZOMd.jpg

    You could have them resurfaced at a used video game store. I had a older DVD-R that got damaged in a move and was unreadable. After resurfacing it wasn't 100% but I was able to read the data off of it. Granted, depending on how badly they're scratched this may not be terribly effective.

    Have you tried any disc recovery software? I can't think of the name of the one I used but it will force the drive to read from the disc despite errors and you may be able to pull a working rip off of the drive if the discs aren't -too- far gone.
    I would find a resurfacing service if the scratches are on that side of the disc (non-label side). If they're in the label... uh oh.

    Also try an old dvd-drive / old computer, the newer drives sometimes have difficulties reading older burned discs.

    if the scratches are bad, first get them resurfaced. I usually [FONT=arial, sans-serif]try [/FONT]petroleum jelly and smear it all over the disc with my finger and leave it for 5 minutes and wipe it off with micro fibre cloth, sometimes this can get the data off the disc. Just make sure you clean it perfectly.
