hey everyone hope you are well, i work tech support for a department for a big hospital and one of the departments under our main one is at the childrens hospital and they dont have a big budget to buy to video game consoles etc,

so i am going to buy 2 or 3 nintendo wii's to donate to them, however after looking at place like shopgoodwill and ebay i have noticed a lot of auctions for wii's have like 12 more bids on them,

is there a renewed interest in the wii? are people buying them to resell on ebay or something? just curios what y'alls thoughts were

I mean, Wiis have always been sold on eBay, I'm not sure how that means there's a resurgence. It was a pretty solid system and I got lots of use out of mine.

It could be partially because the Smash Bros. Melee community is getting larger. A Wii + GameCube controller + modding a Wii and loading an iso of Melee is often cheaper than a GameCube + controller + legitimate copy of Melee.
