well you can also just put a retail drive into an RVT-R Reader and with some modifications run retail games aswell.

But what is the real point here? if you want to get code running bannerbomb is the easier choice...

I just want to play retail games and rvt-r games on my unit :)
Indeed bannerbomb is the easier choice if you have a system menu installed on your rvt-r. Some friends don't have it yet so i found this solution because rvt-r menu installer disc is a bit difficult to found.

after you bought an RVT-R Reader you probably don't have any money left a retail wii lol.

A mate told me they cost 500EUR new from nintendo, so well I'd rather get a retail wii and a drive to dump the RVT-R discs ;)

running RVT-R discs(ISOs) on retail wii has never been easier than ever with SNEEK+DI.

hi:D it is possible to play rvt-r iso with sneek+di? on a retail wii!?
you don't have to modify any of the iso? or get the dev common key?

SNEEK-DI only works with extracted game partitions, therefore you need the dev-common-key to extract the game.

ok you got a point there, with just the NDEV menu and no wii menu changer disc it can be a pretty boring box ;).
But you can achieve that goal with pretty much any device that allows you to run burned discs/crafted ISOs.

(this smiley is unrelated, just thought it looks funny :p )

afaik frodo has the menu changer disc so the ndev menu will be accessible, I am running a burned iso on my retail with no problems.
