Are these rare? I seem to have vol.1 to 4 which I believe is current including DVD case with CD. In the recent issue it looks like vol.1 and 2 have been sold out... TIA cheers
I`ve seen the first issue go for upto £50 and the second for upto £30 although the prices have levelled off a bit it`s a good magazine to get a hold of for the future
I wish I`d bought a few now. But when they first came out they were £5 with a little magazine and a cd/dvd with a load of games that could be downloaded. Oh well never mind....I probably wouldn`t have sold them on anyway :smt043
I saw this when it came out. However, after flicking through, it seems that their idea of retro is Spectrums, C64s and other oldskool UK computers. Not a single mention of Saturn, NES, PC Engine, NeoGeo or anything, Japanese anywhere. So I didn't buy it.
The first couple of issues sell for silly money, and you can probably still turn a profit by buying the new copies and sticking them on eBay for non-UK residents. Why that is is beyond me, since I've flicked through all of them in the newsagents and have yet to find anything worth spending £6 on. I mean, are there any hardcore Acorn Electron collectors out there somewhere?
Yes there are such peeps. Im one of them Acorn fan, not necessarily Acorn Electorn fan though, but I collect those Acorn Brand RISC PCs. Last year a bloke from Blackpool sold one of the best Acorn RISC PC ever over at ebay UK with 2 grand quid price tag. I missed the auction and the buyer wont Resell the machine to me, damn it :smt042
