Retroarch WII and this adapter work ?

hi members , i was wondering if anyone here has tried the below with Retroarch WII and a original SNES Controller. Today i did connect my USB Mayflash SNES Adapter to my WII but it didnt work so im looking for an alternative.

That adapter should work because it's basically telling the Wiimote that it's a classic controller. So, if retroarch supports the classic controller peripheral, then it will support that adapter.

It's basically just a classic controller and retroarch supports classic controllers.

 

I can confirm - it works perfectly with Retroarch, Genesis Plus GX, Snes9x GX, Mednafen or any other emulator and any Wii game that supports classic controller but doesn't require analog sticks, like fighting games.
