This episode was the most fun to make even with a controller malfunctioning on me. My Favorite joke having nothing to do with the accent was the Beginning of the Panzer Dragoon Orta Segment followed by Dreamcast porn which needed a few takes because I kept cracking up at how stupid it was. I look forward to the next RC SS I was watching most of them yesterday. (If you have an IP log you might be able to tell when I was doing research for the show)
Did you keep saying "Yakuma?" Now for some reason I can't get "熊や" out of my head (if that is a legal word). I think your impression was even edging on Pauly shore. Can you turn your TV brightness down? What camera do you use? It may be possible to fix the brightness problem you have. For my Canon, there's a semi-hidden button to control exposure - took me a couple years of owning the camera to realize it was there. Hah. I only made it to Psyvariar 2, but it was entertaining up to there. (Also, I think there's something wrong with me - I can't seem to like that game at all. I know it's good, but...)
I kept saying saying Yakumo AND I do aknowledge it was pretty bad up until the few seconds I actually got it right during Gley Lancer before my vioce said "FUCK IT You're gonna do Jack Sparrow now" I almost want to start selling "Dammit Yakumo" T-Shirts Around the part where I played Virtua Racing I started turning the contrast way down It's obvious I did that when I play Gley Lancer. I do think it's time to get a new camera though or maybe invest in a capture card, somethings seem to come out better than others. The show will still be there if you want to watch the rest of it. I know it ran a bit long My goals for episodes are usually an hour and a half but sometimes they run around an hour and 45 Mins. But I'm glad you were entertained by what you did watch, coming from you that's a huge compliment. The next episode isn't going to be anything at all like this one I came up with the dumbest storyline I could imagine using footage from Ninja films and Ninja Gaiden cut scenes. I haven't picked out the games yet.
@GodofHardcore: enjoying your work so far, especially more so now that the 'rassling' has been toned down, but why don't you play racing games properly? Every time you showcase a racer you always play with an outer car view instead of a front bumper/fender view. Is this how you play them normally or do you do it like this just for the show?
That's how I usually play them it comes from my years of playing Outrun. I suck when I play with an in car view. I'm prepping a 360 shooting special but I'm debating if I should include duel stick shooters and games like Hard Corps uprising the 360 has SO MANY shooters I'm over whelmed as to what to include. Also choosing games for the Neo Geo Special is pushing it back. the Rassling stuff is still there but it's alot more subtle and didn't fit with the last few episodes if I do any more Rasslin related things it won't be until Episode 8 in October
If you are going to play a racer then it has to be the bumper cam. Even the cabin cam on games doesn't feel right. Yakumo
To each their own personally I can't play in bumper cam I crash way too much then again if you look at the last episode when I played Ridge Racer Revolution I was horrible. We'll see what views I use if I do Daytona 2001 and Various Sega Rallys in the future By the way I got a Japanese XBL account who wants to see me suffer though visual novel demos? Hmm I'm also VERY tempted to do Steam Heart's but I have NO idea how to pull it off on a You Tube hosted show...
Hehehe, that's a problem I don't have. Higher video quality and can feature anything I wish. I guess you could just black out any "adult" areas. It would be a pain when editing though. Yakumo
There is a download version which has featured naughty things in the past. (Maria Ozawa in episode 3, naked samus in episode 5) The pain wouldn't be the editing but producing 2 versions of the same episode one for You Tube and the download version. The only time I had to do two different versions of the same episode was Episode 5 when it was blocked in half the world due to Mega Man Rocking out to Slayer's War Ensamble and there was a content match for a clip from My Neighbor Totoro which had another version blocked completely (which I could have avoided if I used the Ghibli Logo apparently) That's why in Epsisode 5 instead of the Cat Bus scene there's Nyan Catbus Download version is always 640x480 1500kbps I think it's a good balance between size and quality assuming my camera isn't being a bitch like it sometimes is. Bumper cam = bite the damn bullet and get used to it. It takes time and a tiny bit of patience, with great rewards. Plus, you'll get another handful of millimeters on your e-penis.
No, SEGA Rally on the Saturn or Rage Racer on the PSX are the ones to try, with awesome handling and a great sensation of speed :nod:
