Hello all, I do have 2 different versions of the game. One playable, and one that is Beta Live. The playable version came with a complete copy of the source code, and by the looks of your pictures, my version is different. I know that I can not get to play all the maps. Mine only has I think it is 4 playable maps, and about half of the cars. Out of curiosity, what is the build date of your copy? The playable XBE works with the Beta Live files, but still not all the maps and cars are usable. So sorry to say, what you have is not the only version. I have 2 different versions, but they are not the same as those so as I count, this makes a total of 3 known different versions. Then on top of that, I have the complete source code. LOL. Have you tried using the PC version files to get the maps to load? It worked for me, lol. It shows up as: 0x3C7ADF06 in DeXBE Which converted is: Tuesday, February 26th 2002, 1:04:06GMT
I jsut bought an xbox live beta starter disk on ebay and from what I remember revolt was on that?Do any of you guys know?
Yeah, that's the disk i had to copy some of the files from to get the game working. Revolt is the only game on it, plus a few XBL movies/trailers, also I do think it has the update that makes your Xbox-XBL compatible. Though, that version you can only play Live, and I wouldn't think the servers are up for it to work ( I don't have a Xbox 1 Live account, so i haven't ever tested the functionality of the disk).
How about XBC? could I use xbc to get REvolt working? nevermind the game needs system link to work, and i doubt it has sytem link built in...damn.
Nice find. Looks to be a fairly decent port. I don't recall it looking that good on other systems. If only I had 500 USD to drop for it
