Just wondering if they were ever taken to trade event or only made for the press kit pictures. It's just a wii mockup case, who knows it might have the hardware inside, but i don't think it does. It would be an extremely nice peice of protype hardware to have and as people have come across Ultra 64 badged console mockups, and assembler has an original ultra 64 mockup controller, I was wondering if anyone had come across a revo case. I know i would love to put my wii hardware into one of these cases.
yes, i ve seen one in the NOJ's building, Iwata's office, along with some other bits n pieces on a wooden shelf.

yes of course, we were discussing about business that one day.. j/k there was a prospectus handed out in Japan in relation to Nintendo - more of a recruitment prospectus, which included many different pics of different stuff. Importaku might have it - I have scans of it somewhere. This was before the release of the white Wii images.
One of these mock-up units were displayed at Nintendo's E3 2005 press conference. They may also exist in a variety of colours, too.
You'll find that they aren't exactly the same as the retail units though, if you look at the position of the buttons, there is one at the top and two at the bottom, so a few minor cosmetic changes were made as well - not just a re-badging
