Can anymore recommend a reputable supplier of RGB cables for PS1 consoles? Want to upgrade from s-video to RGB and have found a couple of cables on eBay and am looking for an RGB cable with the RCA break-out for hooking up a guncon to the machine. Thought I'd ask here before sinking some money into something!
Get yourself a cheap one, because allmost all 3rd party ps1 rgb cables are all faulty in the same way. They all have the 180ohm resistor missing, but the rest ist ok. To open the scart connector an putting in a resistor is easy, don't worry. 99% of the scart connectors are a screw system, unscrew it at the cable intake and then just open it.
I got a rather nice RGB SCART cable from those retro game cables guys on eBay. Doesn't have the noisy picture like the previous cable I had. Cable is kinda short, but the seller says that's to help keep the cable noise-free.
