Hey guys I've found someone that was able to do it, RGB on the Laseractive with the Sega pack.

This is the thread, it's not exactly a tutorial
    http://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php?topic=2795.0

I was wondering if any of you could explain this to me,

"Sine the RGB lines were still too weak before the resistors I used a THS7314 3-channel video amp. You have to put AC coupling caps on the input though."

I'm very familiar with the THS7314 but I'm not familiar with AC coupling caps.

How exactly do you use it?

You add caps on the R G B line before they go into the THS7314? That's it?

BTW: to anyone interested on the laseractive it's the best sound I ever heard from anything mega drive/genesis/32x/sega cd/mega ld related. It's just outstanding.

I have a Laseractive and a Wondermega MK1 and the sound from the Wondermega is much cleaner and nicer.

Now the next trick is to make Mega LD games run in RGB. Not too hard just needs composite video of the LD converted to RGB and then mixed with the RGB signals of the Laseractive. Most Japanese Laserdisc arcade games and the European version of Dragons Lair did this.

I have a board that I got from Japan that converts component to RGB.

The thing is, where's the pinout?

I'm having a hard time finding the pinout of the RGB pins on the Sega Pak or is it on the Laserdisc board?

EDIT: Found the pins for RGB.

So how exactly do you mix the signals?

You just convert composite/s-video to RGB and solder the output from the converter board on the output RGB pins?

EDIT2: Result so far... need to fix something here... not sure what's wrong:

    EDIT 3:

Added 100nF ceramic caps on the R G B line.

Got a little bit of progresss here:
