Hi all! Just a quick question, I want to split an RGB connection to two outputs (one going to a Framemeister, the other going to a CRT TV). Can anyone suggest the best way to do this with the least amount of degradation to the image?
Few options. 1. gscartsw. If you have the money, grab a gscartsw from SuperG here on the forums. Top quality 8 port scart switch with 2 outputs. Has a built in sync stripper too. 2. Shinybow SB-3715. 1 input to 4 output distribution amplifier. This will split your RGB scart connection to 4 outputs. (Probably the cheapest SCART option if you can find one) 3. Shinybow SB-5525. 6 input to 2 output. 6 port matrix switcher. You can output to 2 displays simultaneously. 4. If you're using BNC, then an Extron Crosspoint can be had pretty cheaply these days. They're bulky though.
Not sure if this helps. But my PVM has a pass through feature. So you can use the PVM and hookup another RGB source at the same time.
