Hello, I have been working on a RGB to VGA Scaler recently following mmmonkeys tutorial. http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/other/rgb2vga.htm Everything is working as intended except the scan line generator which only works at 50hz on my megadrive and at 60hz the odd/even switch does nothing and the thick/thin switch goes from normal image to a dull image. I used the LS chips and not the HC ones. I am at a loss frankly and am unsure how to continue. If anyone has the knowledge I would appreciate it as I'm seriously considering just buying the Mini Framemeister but would rather not if I can get a soution. Thanks
I found a scanline generator which is comprised of the same chips although the HC versions, which has a switch labelled vsync which I must conclude is for different refresh rates. It appears to relate to resolution and not refresh rate as the slg works at 640*480 at 60hz. I will post back if a get the desired results.
