Last night I thought I'd loadup minecraft for some offline building on my RGH because oldest two kids were using the physical copies of the game..but all I kept getting is "the game cannot start please download again" I redownloaded three times but kept getting same error over and over, then I used a physical copy but still keep getting the same error WTF! Can anyone shed some light on this? Every other game I try works except minecraft.
The xbe I got were from xbox live and from the disc pictured..and they worked fine until yesterday which is weird as nothing's changed, not even installed any other software or updates!
Try ripping the game to your Hard Disk, FTP it over to your PC and change into GOD format. See if that changes anything for you. I've read a number of times that when people can't start games they change them to GOD format and they work.
Iirc, MC wants its XBL avatar files to be installed to work. No idea what for exactly, but installing them seemed to fix it for most people.
Looks like title update file was corrupt, removed title update file and now alls well...thanks everyone who tried to help
Fakelive? Like xboxkai? not that I would even play over fakelive anyway, my RGH is purely so I can play offline games when all the other standard consoles are being used in the house.
