Iv had it for afew years. It was a new console i had RGH'd . The problem is it starting up. Once it took 2 week before it booted the dashboard. I would leave it on for a hour whilst playing my other 360 retail. Hoping to see the green circle lights . I sent it back to the guy 2 times that did it but he said it was fine , and played it for a few hours testing it. Is there away to make it start faster than ? Its bootup time is about 30-40 min now.
Do you know what rgh chip it has? It usually comes down to what timing file is used on the chip or wire set up(length).
Coolrunner chip. The long wire was wrapped around the x clamp. I removed it and made it into a circle and taped it on the board. That made it better.
How much better? Do you know which type of coolrunner? rev a, b or c or d or crlite. What xbox360 do you have? fat or slim. Sometimes removing or installing a cap here and there will make a world of difference in boot up times. But each coolrunner is a little different for each 360. Also if you could I would like to see a pic of the install(top/bottom pic's)
From never booting up in 2 weeks to now 30-40 min . Its a slim 4 gb internal and 1000 gb hdd. Ill see what ver coolrunner it is.
...30/40min to boot up? What kind of butcher did your mod? Listen to me...i've done dozens of any rgh type on any kind of 360 motherboards and you have been cheated by a non professionale installer...if you follow me, and you have a bit of manual work i can help you to solve this problem. To begin with, can you tell me what type of 360 we're talking about? Phat or Slim? Zephyr, Falcon, Jasper? Trinity/Corona/Stingray? Coolrunner is the worst CPLD ever...but with a bit of correct wiring, good welds and the correct fix we can impressive improve the current disaster. Can you post picture of the actual installation? Have you got the original retail dump from your "butcher"? Or alternatively did you know the current CB of your 360?
