Trying to get rgloader v510 (17150) working on a 16mb xenon I made the image with rgbuild from a 17150 freeboot image (made from xebuild) All the HDD files are transferred with the INI file It boots fine first time, I can get into the xdk dash and do the initial setup OK but when I turn it off and on I just get black screen, ROL just has single middle light. Any ideas?
Try ejecting the disk tray to boot the console and see if Xell starts. If it does then you can reflash it without a physical programmer.
that happened a long time ago with the dev setting files being writing to the flash bad/not enough space. I think i had the settings on the hdd instead so it would not error/boot issues.
I have nandx hooked up already, reflashed a normal freeboot image and works fine. Reflashed rgloader image and get 1 normal boot then black screen I only flashed this to try battlefront 3, is there any way to get it working on normal freeboot? "I think i had the settings on the hdd instead so it would not error/boot issues." Can I generate these files and transfer them over beforehand?
will do thanks anyone know why the official forums are down? apparently theres a 17489 version out but I can't find a link anywhere
RGLoader 17150 is the version that added support for BF3 I think? I know some people have had luck on older firmware, but for the most part I think this is the iteration that officially added support? Could be wrong; I use a real devkit so It's not a problem for me, but I've had friends and people commenting on my videos telling me that they're waiting for the next RGLoader update so they can play BF3.
I believe I've had an issue with this as well except my console went straight to an E error. From what I remember try this: Download a clean version of RGLoader, open it once and dial in your settings and such that you want (CPU key, mobo, etc) then save/exit. Reopen it so it has the settings saved in (they're all saved to an ini file I believe) then create your NAND image. Flash that NAND image over, and try to boot the console a few times without the HDD to make sure it works. If you then set it up and it does the black screen thing it might be more of an issue with your HDD files instead of your NAND build.
will try that now thanks by rgloader you mean the rgbuild app right? that does not save my settings if I exit and re-open...
