I'm trying to connect a wireless controller to my RGH, and it seems to pick it up but not add it as a controller. Anyone else having this problem?

IIRC it has something to do with not having the original devkit KV. Someone might be able to pop in here and elaborate further but a google search of that might turn something up.

I'm not entirely sure how RGLoader works behind the scenes, but there have been past fixes for 5 minute desyncing and I've also had my wireless connect before v311. It may be just an issue with v311, so I'll wait on more details.

Ask someone on the RGloader forums, Kuji used to be a moderator there and a member here before he left the scene

It's not a generated KV though, it's the same one from the console.

Why would you be trying to flash RGLoader to a DevKit?

Talk about a waste of good hardware. :(

Sorry my attempt to fix my problem upset you...

I was lucky enough to have a DevKit given to me and with not much experience with it am seeking advise and help to my problem...

I am on Recovery 21250.2 since most of the newer titles will not launch with anything lower...

If you're trying to mod a DevKit with RGLoader, that's the source of your problem.

This is problem that affects retail units that have been modded with RGLoader because the dev software is expecting a dev KV and RGLoader isn't using real KVs. RGLoader is a hack to get the dev functions running on retail hardware.

A real, unmodified DevKit isn't going to have any problems with controllers.

Uninstall RGLoader and undo any other mods that you've done to the system until you get it back to stock. Once there, your problem should go away.

I do not have any mods installed on my devkit with the exception of what was posted in this thread, and that was only added on today to see if this would help me fix my problem...The problem still happens even after a fresh install, formatting the HDD, of the latest recovery I have, which is 21250.2...

In the other thread below this one, user Doom stated that "From what I recall, the controller fails a device authentication check on the newer recoveries. If you don't have your original keyvault, you need to do some kernel patching."

I don't even know where to begin with doing this..I will say that the last recovery that didn't have this controler disconnecting problem I have was 21076.6...But this recovery doesn't launch newer titles...

I do appreciate you taking the time to attempt to help me, I greatly appreciate it...

Well I decided to use it on RGLoader in the root of my HDD, and it didn't fix it.

    EDIT:
This seemed to break wireless controller connectivity on retail as well. Thanks.
