richest game collector in the world?

I am not saying CRT is shit either (at least, the picture quality).

My post was in 2 parts - one me agreeing with you and the other saying screw CRT.

This is because, things have moved on... I am not having a huge CRT taking up massive amounts of space when a LCD is perfectly fine.

 

I've yet to see a lagless LCD screen displaying 480i with my own eyes that matches the sharpness of my CRT. That's why I'm so reluctant to get rid of mine because the picture quality is so great, even now RGB on systems like the PS2 still looks fantastic, right now I play my 360 in RGB and it still looks great, minus the problem of tiny text.

 

Only just saw the follow-up post he made about the Powerfest cart. Glad there's going to be a repro release, although his reason given for not dumping the ROM seems a bit silly.

Also I think a large number of people in this thread are being silly arguing over what TV people use to play their games, when that has almost nothing at all to do with the topic.

 

The games these days are requiring less response time. I got Mushihime-sama HD and play it on my LCD, but I get fucked way more than I would on the CRT. Simple fact. 2 frames isn't going to matter though in some FPS. Unless you're playing old games that have a razor thin margin of error, you're not going to notice on that front.
