While on my evening browse of yahoo auctions i came across this super famicom dev unit auction. http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k13461094 :smt023
im SO in love with that thing. 39.000 is a bit steep, though. gone are the days when you could buy 3 snes 16mbit protocarts for $10 on yahoo.jp. damn!
while it is true that snes dev stuff shows up rather often on yahoo, it seems to me that its getting scarcer all the time. for example, im still looking for another sd f1 grand prix sample cart. havent seen one for quite some time. could use some more game processor ram cassette carts, too. i have a couple, but none that actually has something working on it. the best i got so far was a cart that initializes and uploads some graphics to vram, then jumps to invalid code. would also love to get my hands on the game processor devkit, but i have yet to see one of these pop up on yahoo. i have to admit that i dont browse yahoo frequently anymore in order to avoid any temptation. :smt043 as a student, my budget is rather limited, you know. [edit] i have the feeling that what im lacking is a proper list of search words aswell. do you have any suggestions?
I don't search while I go through Yahoo, I just go into the hardware and other categories and just view everything's thumbnail. I'm very much the same, I cut down on my Yahooing since I have no money. I really should start back up again.
