Bert Weedon, legendary guitar player and tutor, who brought guitar playing to the masses with his "Play in a Day" tuition books - among the first (and best) self tutorial books for guitarists, has died. If you're a guitarist and don't know who Bert is - shame on you! The likes of Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton and Brian May all learnt to play with his books.
