The actor Herbert "Burt" Kwouk, OBE has died aged 85. Born in Britain but raised in China, Kwouk went to America to go to college before returning to England. He was already a popular choice when an oriental character was needed on British television and in film when his big break came, the role of Kate in A Shot in the Dark, the second film in the Pink Panther series, returning in all subsequent films, even beyond the death of lead actor Peter Sellers. He went on to appear in three James Bond Films - Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice and the original spoof version of Casino Royale. He continued to act in popular British television series, including several appearances in The Avengers, Danger Man, The Saint, The Tomorrow People, Doctor Who, The Kenny Everett Television Show and The Harry Hill Show. He was a main character, Major Yamauchi, in Tenko and Entwhistle in Last of the Summer Wine. He also voiced The Oracle in the video game EyeToy: Play and Lusha in Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior. Not afraid to return to his spoof roots, he did voice-overs for spoof Japanese game show Banzai. Despite a career spanning six decades, he was sadly never nominated for an award. However, he received an OBE in the 2011 New Year Honours List. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/films/2016/05/24/pink-panther-cato-actor-burt-kwouk-dies/ RIP Burt. Thanks for some great characters.
Deep End (Hog Dog seller) I think they where a quid. He had a small part in a good film and probably all the hot dogs he could eat. Who would say no to that R.I.P https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_End_(film)
