The Irish musician Dolores O'Riordan has died aged 46 of unknown causes. O'Riordan was best known as the singer for The Cranberries. Their first two albums went multi-platinum in the UK and US, probably thanks to the success of singles Linger and Zombie, the latter winning a MTV Europe Music Award for best song. This was a shame, especially given how young she was. I didn't really anticipate this at all. I'm curious to see what comes to light in the next few days.
