Legendary DJ and presenter Sir James 'Jimmy' Saville OBE, KCSG has died, just 2 days before his 85th birthday. He was famous for having been one of the first Radio 1 DJs, one of the first Top of the Pops presenters, and his show Jim'll Fix It was popular in the 70s and 80s. He was also well known for his charity work, particularly running marathons. Sadly, the BBC don't have a story on their news site, although it is on the ticker on their BBC News TV channel. RIP Jimmy. You brought us all many years of great entertainment.
Now that is sad news. Good old Jimmy. The only OAP with a gold Armani track suit  He sure did love his bling way before it became the culture of the scum. Jimmy Saville was a national treasure. A sad day indeed. Yakumo
R.I.P. I'm sure Jimmy would see the funny side when I say: Who is for joining me in a one minute Now Then, Now Then?
