The actor Richard Kiel has died aged 74, a week after breaking his leg. Kiel appeared in many television programmes in the Sixties and Seventies, and even co-wrote and produced The Giant of Thunder Mountain. His appearance in Silver Streak as a hitman with metal teeth came out just before his most popular role as Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me, who reappeared in Moonraker, making him one of the few Bond villains to appear in more than one story - especially played by the same actor! He also appeared in films such as Cannonball Run II, Happy Gilmore and Inspector Gadget. He played Jaws again in the video game 007: Everything or Nothing and his likeness was used in GoldenEye 007, 007: Nightfire, Legends and James Bond 007. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-29152398 RIP Richard - thanks for bringing one of the greatest Bond villains to life!
Everyone remembers his role is 007. The man was unforgettable. I remember seeing him in Cannon Ball Run as a kid wondering where his metal teeth had gone, hahaha. Rip.
Probably everybody who lives in Rio will always remember him from the SugarLoaf Cable Car fight scene in Moonraker, but i also remember him from Happy Gilmore and Cannonball. RIP
