Sad loss, he was really one of the greats. I know that get's thrown around for everyone that dies these day's, but in his case it's true. I used to work in the Passport Office years ago, and renewed his passport (well did the back office stuff at least)... my claim to fame... Oh well, another "want to meet" to cross off my list, I just gotta try to catch Patrick Moore before he passes away, and judging from his appearance on TV lately, it won't be long...
well, i think i'm one of just a few germans who knew it, as tachikoma already said, it's a really sad loss i really enjoyed his show "The two Ronnies"
