Samuel Morris Borofsky June 12, 1944 - October 16, 2014 Sam Borofsky was credited as the original sales rep. who played a big part in convincing Nintendo of releasing the NES in the US back in the 80's. That name is familiar, I just can't put my finger on why! Perhaps I had some contact with him at some point. I started reading that article - sounds interesting. I need to give it the full attention it deserves, though. Console Wars is a good book - I need to read it again! Sad news. RIP Sam and thanks for an early part of my gaming history and indeed kickstarting the industry again.
