Legendary broadcaster Sir David Frost has died of a suspected heart attack on a cruise ship, aged 74. Frost's career as a television broadcaster spanned 50 years. Programmes he presented include That Was The Week That Was, The Frost Report, Breakfast With Frost and Through the Keyhole. He was a presenter, writer, producer, journalist, comedian and game show host. However, he was best known internationally for his controversial interview with Richard Nixon in 1977, which spawned a play and film, both named Frost/Nixon. He launched the careers of comedy legends John Cleese, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23920336 RIP Sir David - a sad loss of a great broadcaster.
Now that wasn't expected. What a place to have a heart attack too. You'd think you'd be at your most releaxed on a cruise. Sad
Yeah, the first episode aired at the weekend... or Through T'Keyhole, as he calls it. He plays both parts. It's stupid and the hints are really obvious, but at the same time, I guess he does lend a bit of comedy to the format. Still, it's not the same if you're a fan of the traditional format. Dunno how long this will last.. watch while you can! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHYfmugbAJ8
Thanks man. I do enjoy the Keith Lemon character. He's dirty, rude and just stupid but still appealing in a way.
