Author Sir Terry Pratchett, OBE has died aged 66, after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for several years. Pratchett was best known for his vast library of books centred around Discworld. An avid computer enthusiast, some of his early works were penned on an Amstrad CPC 464, although he had a Sinclair ZX81 before that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31858156?SThisFB&fb_ref=Default RIP Sir Terry. Thanks for a marvellous fantasy world. And remember - the only reason for walking into the jaws of Death is so's you can steal his gold teeth!
I just was reading about this, truly lost one of my all time favorite authors. R.I.P. Sir Terry Pratchett
A whole pile! Did the news reach Japan? I don't know whether they were translated / popular over there. Surprisingly, it was the main story on the 6 O'Clock News. Most deaths are the "and finally..." - either testament to his popularity, or a slow news day!
